Shares of Evolution Mining (ASX:EVN), Newmont (ASX:NEM), and Northern Star Resources (ASX:NST) rose around 5%, 6% and 4% respectively, in Tuesday's trade, as gold rebounded from its steepest plunge in over a decade following last week's record-breaking sell-off.
Spot gold rose 3.5% to $4,822.99 an ounce, recovering from a plunge of up to $1,200 after hitting a record high of $5,602 last week.
