Mapletree Industrial Trust's FY 2027 Distributions Could Fall -- Market Talk

0457 GMT - Mapletree Industrial Trust's distributions per unit are likely to fall in FY 2027 after the divestiture of some Singapore properties, Maybank Securities' Krishna Guha says in a note. The real-estate investment trust's revenue and net property income in 3Q were weighed down by lower occupancy in its U.S. data-center portfolio and a weaker U.S. dollar, the analyst says. Its financing costs could also rise as its hedges are repriced, he adds. Guha cuts his FY 2027 DPU forecast by 2.7% to reflect higher borrowing costs and lower contribution from data centers. He notes that the REIT's management is also looking to sell selective assets to redeploy capital. Maybank Securities trims its target price to S$2.00 from S$2.10 and maintains its hold rating. Units fall 1.4% to S$2.08. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
