1315 GMT - The Bank of England indicated increased prospects of more interest rate cuts in the coming months during Thursday's rate decision, Pantheon Macroeconomics' Rob Wood says in a note. The BOE kept interest rates unchanged at 3.75% in a surprisingly tight 5-4 vote. "The monetary policy committee argued that risks from inflation persistence has become less pronounced, while downside growth risks are unchanged," signalling a desire to cut rates further in 2026, Wood says.
