Resolute Mining (ASX:RSG) said the Council of Ministers awarded a mining permit for the Doropo Gold project in the Ivory Coast, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The mining permit is valid for 14 years with the provision to extend, the filing said.

The company expects to start construction on the project in the first half of the fiscal year, followed by first gold in the first half of 2028, the filing added.
