Datang International Power Generation (HKG:0991, SHA:601991) completed the issuance of medium-term bonds amounting to 3 billion yuan, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
The bonds have a term of two years, which can be extended, and a coupon rate of 1.89%.
China International Capital (HKG:3908, SHA:601995) is the lead underwriter and bookrunner of the issuance.
Proceeds from the issuance will be used to pay debt.
The Chinese power company's Hong Kong shares rose over 2%, while its Shanghai shares rose 1% during the morning trade.
