Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) said results from reverse circulation drilling programs conducted last year at its Sandstone Hub in Western Australia show the potential for extensions of mineralized lodes outside of the current mineral resource estimate, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling yielded 3 meters at 42.5 grams per tonne gold equivalent (g/t Au) from 158 meters and 13 meters at 5.4 g/t Au from 177 meters, the filing said.
Results from diamond drilling programs completed last year are pending.
The company expects a pre-feasibility study at Sandstone early in the September quarter, the filing added.
