Intel (INTC) is one of the investors in a new funding round for artificial intelligence chip startup SambaNova Systems, Reuters reported late Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Intel plans to invest about $100 million, with potential commitments of up to $150 million, two of the sources reportedly said.
Terms of the fundraising could still change, sources told Reuters.
Intel and SambaNova did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
