Novo Resources (ASX:NVO) reported an increase to the exploration target for the Belltopper project in Victoria, with growth in contained ounces of gold, tonnage, and grade compared with the 2024 exploration target, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The exploration target has been updated to 2.1 million tonnes at 6.7 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold for 460,000 ounces to 3.1 million tonnes at 8.9 g/t grade of gold for 880,000 ounces, the filing said.
The 2024 exploration target indicated potential gold mineralization ranging from 1.5 million tonnes at 6.6 g/t grade of gold for 320,000 ounces to 2.1 million tonnes at 8.4 g/t grade of gold for 570,000 ounces, per the filing.
