Prospect Resources (ASX:PSC) posted an updated indicated and inferred mineral resource estimate delivering a 63% increase in tonnage and 50% growth in contained copper at its Mumbezhi project in Zambia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The estimate now stands at 173.8 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.4% copper, the filing said.
The initial estimate for the project was at 107.2 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.5% copper, according to a separate filing in March.
Prospect Resources shares rose 1% in morning trade Monday.
