Eni (E) and CDP Venture Capital said Monday that they have invested 550,000 euros ($652,220) in EXE Engineering to advance carbon offsetting initiatives in Africa.
The funding will help the startup accelerate its development roadmap and expand projects into new markets, including Europe and Africa, according to the companies.
The round was led by Zero and Eni Next, Eni's corporate venture capital arm, which focuses on high-potential technology startups.
