Feb 12 (Reuters) - Hong Kong's CK Hutchison 0001.HK said on Thursday that it has notified the Republic of Panama of a dispute over an investment protection treaty after A.P. Moller – Maersk said it was willing to assume temporary management of Panama's Balboa and Cristobal terminals.
The firm said in a statement that A.P. Moller – Maersk's (APMT) willingness to assume temporary operation of the two ports "would result in legal recourse against APMT and/or its affiliates involved" without agreement with CK Hutchison or its affiliates.
