Select Water Solutions (WTTR) and LibertyStream Infrastructure Partners said Monday they signed a deal for the deployment of commercial lithium carbonate production facilities at Select's water treatment and recycling sites in the Midland Basin, Texas.

The deal is for a three-stage development program, with the stage one construction expected to start at Select's Howard County, Texas, facility in Q2 and targeted for commissioning by the end of December, the companies said.

LibertyStream will commission a second carbonate facility before June 2027 under the second stage, and then at least two more facilities under the third stage, according to the statement.
