Dreadnought Resources (ASX:DRE) said that a drilling program conducted last year at the Mangaroon gold project confirmed gold mineralization at all targets, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling yielded 25 meters at 1 gram per tonne gold from 22 meters, including 12 meters at 1.4 g/t gold from 25 meters, the filing said.
The results are the thickest intercepts to date and highlight the potential for bulk gold deposits in addition to the well-known narrow, high-grade gold, the filing added.
Shares of the company rose past 14% in recent Monday trade.
