McDonald's (MCD) will report its Q4 financial results after the market close Wednesday instead of before the opening bell, the company said in a statement to MT Newswires Wednesday.

The timing adjustment is due to scheduling requirements and does not represent a permanent change to McDonald's reporting cycle, the company said.

The financial results will be released at approximately 4:05 pm ET with a conference call to follow at 4:30 pm ET, the company added.
