Breton Technology (HKG:1333) said it awarded a procurement contract to Green Power Technologie involving the Ruashi microgrid project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Wednesday.
Under the agreement, Green Power will supply equipment and services for the construction of the microgrid project which involves a 118 megawatt solar power plant and a 330 megawatt-hour energy storage facility.
The contract is valued at 38.6 million euros, plus 742,117 euros in interest. The amounts will be paid monthly after the initial payment of 30% of the contract value.
