John Wiley & Sons Inc. and Virtusa said Tuesday they have entered into a multi-year managed services partnership.

Under the partnership, Virtusa will provide infrastructure and application services and support Wiley's strategic technology initiatives, the firms said.

Virtusa has assumed ownership of Wiley's Sri Lanka technology operation as part of the deal, they said.

Shares of were John Wiley & Sons up 12% in premarket trading.
