Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) said Monday it has named Ariel Kelman as chief marketing officer, effective immediately.

Kelman was most recently the chief marketing officer at Salesforce (CRM), Advanced Micro Devices said.

Shares of Advanced Micro Devices rose 4% in recent trading.
