Transocean to acquire Valaris in $5.8 billion deal

Feb 9 (Reuters) - Transocean RIG.N will acquire Valaris VAL.N in an all-stock deal valued at $5.8 billion, the companies said on Monday.

The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2026
