BUZZ-Australia's <a href="https://laohu8.com/S/RGN.AU">Region Re</a> rises most in two years on strong interim earnings, forecast

** Shares of Australia's Region Re RGN.AX rise as much as 3.9% to A$2.41, hitting their biggest intraday pct gain in two years

** Stock touches its highest level since January 21

** Region Re, an investor and manager of shopping centres, posts 1HFY26 statutory net profit after tax (NPAT) of A$180 million ($127.57 million), compared with A$81.8 million a year ago

** Co adds 1HFY26 funds from operations (FFO) at 7.9 Australian cents per share, up from 7.6 Australian cents per share in the year-ago period

** Co expects FY26 FFO of 16 Australian cents apiece, compared with FY25 FFO of 15.5 Australian cents apiece

** RGN up 1.3% YTD, including session's gains
