Elite UK REIT (SGX:MXNU) secured a planning approval from Flyde Borough Council's Planning Committee, for the development of a data center at Peel Park, Blackpool, UK, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The data center will be developed across around 37 acres of freehold land, with the approval allowing development of the building on a plot of around 20 acres.

Meanwhile, the manager was also offered power of up to 120 megavolt-ampere for the site.
