FedEx guided for higher annual revenue in fiscal 2029 as it prioritizes its higher-margin businesses.

The shipping company said Thursday it is targeting revenue of $98 billion for fiscal 2029, representing a compound annual growth rate of 4% compared with the midpoint of its fiscal 2026 outlook and excluding its freight business. The company recorded revenue of $87.9 billion for fiscal 2025, which ended last May.

Going forward, FedEx is working to prioritize growth in its high-margin businesses and scale its digital and artificial-intelligence capabilities, the company said.

"What sets this moment apart is the role of digital intelligence. This is a true force multiplier," Chief Executive Raj Subramaniam said, noting that digital intelligence will support profitable growth and higher margins.

FedEx also said it now expects adjusted earnings per share for its fiscal third quarter to exceed the consensus average as of Feb. 11. Analysts polled by FactSet expect adjusted earnings per share of $4.01 for the quarter.
