Hong Kong's total exports grew 21.6% year over year in December 2025 while imports increased 26.5% year over year, according to data from the city's census and statistics department released Thursday.
When accounting for the entirety of 2025, total exports increased by 12.8% whereas imports jumped 12.9% on a year-on-year basis.
Prices of exports during December jumped 3.7% while that of imports inched up 3.4%. When accounting for the whole year, prices of exports increased by 2.3% while import prices gained 2.2%.
