Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) found high-grade gold outside the current resource at its Paulsens gold operation in Western Australia through extensional drilling in the upper Main Zone, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results include 5.06 meters at over 14 grams per tonne grade of gold from nearly 16 meters and 3.64 meters at almost 12 g/t grade of gold from nearly 15 meters, the filing said.

Drilling is ongoing with plans in place to add a second rig, per the filing.
