Aurizon Holdings Posts Higher Fiscal H1 Earnings, Revenue

Aurizon Holdings (ASX:AZJ) reported Monday underlying fiscal first-half earnings of AU$0.136 per share, up from AU$0.113 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of NZ$0.13.

Revenue and other income for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2025, reached AU$2.1 billion, compared with AU$2.02 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected AU$2.03 billion.

The company expects group underlying fiscal year 2026 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) between AU$1.68 billion and AU$1.75 billion, with a full-year dividend of AU$0.22 to AU$0.23, compared to previous guidance of AU$0.19 and AU$0.20.

The company sees fiscal year 2026 non-growth capex of AU$580 million to AU$600 million and growth capex of AU$100 million to AU$150 million.

The board declared an interim dividend of NZ$0.125 per share, up from AU$0.092 a year earlier, payable March 25 to shareholders on record as of March 3.
