Air New Zealand (ASX:AIZ, NZE:AIR) has paused all operations in and out of Wellington, Napier, and Palmerston North, due to extreme weather conditions, according to a Monday statement by the airline.

The airline expects to resume services when conditions improve, the statement said.

Its shares fell nearly 1% in recent Monday trade on the New Zealand bourse.
