Alkane Resources (ASX:ALK) reported Friday fiscal first-half 2026 net profit of AU$5.27 per share, up from AU$2.15 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of AU$0.03.
Revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2025, was AU$404 million, compared with AU$121.5 million a year earlier.

The company said it expects fiscal-year 2026 consolidated gold-equivalent production of between 155,000 ounces and 168,000 ounces, for all-in sustaining costs of between AU$2,600 and AU$2,900.
Its shares fell 5% in recent trading on Friday.
