Eclipse Metals (ASX:EPM) said initial wet high-intensity magnetic separation sighter test results during the first phase metallurgical testing from the Grønnedal rare earth elements project in Greenland indicated that rare earth element mineralization reports to combined ferro-magnetic fractions, showing strong magnetic amenability under staged separation conditions, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The ore demonstrated consistent magnetic amenability across compositional variability. Head assay results showed neodymium ranging from 533 parts-per-million (ppm) to 1,828 ppm, with "meaningful" praseodymium support.
Its shares fell 4% in recent trading on Friday.
