Financial stocks were declining pre-bell Friday, with the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) 0.1% lower.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 0.5% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.5% higher.

Western Union (WU) shares were down more than 2% after the company reported a decline in Q4 revenue.
