Worley (ASX:WOR) was selected by New Zealand's Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment to serve as client engineer and technical advisor for the nation's new liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal, according to a Tuesday statement by the company.

The company will offer independent technical advice, develop specifications, and provide engineering support during both procurement and delivery, ensuring adherence to international standards while complying with local regulations, environmental standards, and community expectations.
