True North Copper (ASX:TNC) started 2,700 meters of diamond and reverse circulation drilling within its Cloncurry Copper project in Queensland, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program will focus on metallurgical and geotechnical work across the Great Australia, Taipan, and Orphan Shear deposits, the filing said.
It will also test resource extensions and near-mine high-priority targets defined through recent surveys, the filing added.
Shares of the company fell 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
