Tech stocks were mixed late Tuesday afternoon, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) fractionally higher and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) down 0.2%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index added 0.1%.

In corporate news, Apple (AAPL) is ramping up development of three new AI-backed wearable devices, Bloomberg reported. Apple shares rose 3.3%.
