Strickland Metals Continues Receiving Strong Gold Results From Serbia Project; Shares Up Nearly 6%

Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) continued receiving strong gold results from the Gradina prospect, within its Rogozna project in Serbia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Assay results from diamond drilling completed late last year returned nearly 61 meters at 1.9 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 798 meters, including 31 meters at 2.7 g/t grade of of gold from 814 meters, the filing said.

Plans are underway for follow-up drilling for this year's field season, with drilling expected to start in March, per the filing.

Shares rose nearly 6% in morning trade Wednesday.
