Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rise in Wednesday Trading

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were higher Wednesday morning, up 0.6% to 2,985.58 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by e-commerce company PDD (PDD) and Takeda Pharmaceutical (TAK), which advanced 2.1% and 2%, respectively.

They were followed by financial technology companies LexinFintech (LX) and FinVolution (FINV), which climbed 1.8% and 1.6%, respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by sports and social business company Leifras (LFS) and Internet and data center service provider VNET (VNET), which fell 12% and 9.6%, respectively.

They were followed by game-related entertainment and services provider Huya (HUYA), which shed 2.4%.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by IT service management company Trident Digital Tech (TDTH) and tech conglomerate Sea (SE), which gained 4.7% and 3.1%, respectively.

The decliners from South Asia were led by telecom Telkom Indonesia (TLK), which decreased 0.7%.
