BUZZ-Suncorp Group on track to log third straight week of losses on weak HY earnings

** Shares of Australia's Suncorp Group SUN.AX down 3.1% so far in the week, on track to record its third consecutive week of losses, if trend holds

** The Australian general insurer posted on Wednesday HY cash earnings of A$270 million ($189.68 million), vs A$828 million reported last year; results also missed Visible Alpha consensus estimates of A$311.2 million

** SUN shares up however 1.4% during the day at A$15.465

** Stock has fallen 12.4% this year, including day's moves
