BUZZ-Australia's WAM Strategic Value hits over a year high on strong half-yearly earnings

** Shares of WAM Strategic Value WAR.AX rise as much as 1.7% to A$1.185, their highest level since September 30, 2024

** Investment co posts nearly 159% y/y rise in HY net profit after income tax expense; revenue up about 165%

** Declares interim dividend of 3.25 Australian cents/share, up from 3 Australian cents/share last year

** WAR up 1.3% so far this week, set to touch its highest weekly level in over a year

** Stock up 3.5% YTD, including session's moves
