Shares of firms in the materials sector jumped past 1% at midday Monday amid rising gold prices, after the Supreme Court's Feb. 20 ruling that said Trump exceeded his authority and struck down the President's sweeping tariffs.
Perenti (ASX:PRN) reported fiscal first-half underlying earnings of AU$0.098 per share, up from AU$0.087 a year earlier.
On the flip side, the information technology sector dropped 4%.
Data#3 (ASX:DTL) reported fiscal first-half earnings of AU$0.1491 per diluted share, up from AU$0.144 a year earlier.
