Standard Chartered (HKG:2888) has launched a new sub-fund under its variable capital company (VCC) structure in partnership with Seviora Capital, a member of Seviora Group, a Temasek-owned asset management group based in Singapore, according to a Monday press release.

The Signature Select Seviora Titans Absolute Return (STAR) fund provides high-net-worth clients with access to a portfolio of hedge fund managers that are typically difficult for individual investors to access.

The fund will initially be available to accredited and professional investors within the bank's private banking segment in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Jersey, with a broader rollout planned in the coming months, the lender said.
