Becton, Dickinson (BDX) said Monday it has launched the BD Vacutainer Urine Complete Cup Kit, a three-tube collection system.

The company said the product is designed to preserve sample integrity, improve workflow efficiency, reduce exposure risks for healthcare workers, and minimize the need for repeat patient collections.

The kit is available in the US with both Hemogard and conventional stoppered tubes and is compatible with a range of diagnostic equipment, the company said. It can support testing to detect and identify bacteria or fungi causing infection, as well as general wellness and signs of disease, BD said.
