1021 GMT - British energy major Shell could turn to acquisitions to grow its reserves in the medium term, Berenberg analysts write. Shell's existing reserves would last almost 8 years at current production rates, the analysts write. So far, the company should be able to at least sustain production through to 2030, the analysts write. Shell's existing resource base is skewed toward typically higher-margin LNG and deepwater assets, they say. Shares rise 0.7% to 2,985 pence. (adam.whittaker@wsj.com)
