Nine Entertainment (ASX:NEC) said the WIN Group, owner of Birketu, has increased its voting power in the company to 22.98% from 19.98%, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

WIN Group has entered into two new equity swap transactions with Macquarie Bank in respect of shares in Nine Entertainment. It consists of a cash-settled equity swap covering 35.7 million shares and a physically settled equity swap of 47.5 million shares.

WIN Group's holding in Nine remains unchanged, as per the filing.
