Live Nation Entertainment's (LYV) antitrust case is likely to proceed to trial next week, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing comments from US District Judge Arun Subramanian at a hearing.

Subramanian, who sits in the Southern District of New York, said he expects to issue a written ruling in the coming days and is likely to deny Live Nation's request to delay the trial while it seeks to appeal his earlier decision allowing the case to go to a jury, the report said.

Live Nation, which owns Ticketmaster, is accused of violating antitrust law with the ticketing contracts it had with concert venues, the report said.

Live Nation did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
