Marimaca Copper (ASX:MC2) closed the Canadian portion of its global offering, which consisted of 25.7 million common shares priced at CA$10 per common share for aggregate gross proceeds of CA$257 million, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The Canadian portion of the offering included a CA$136.5 million treasury offering of 13.7 million common shares as well as a CA$120.5 million secondary offering of 12 million existing common shares owned and controlled by Greenstone Resources II and Greenstone Co-Investment No. 1 (Coro).
The Canadian treasury offering remains subject to final approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Marimaca Copper's shares rose past 2% in recent trading on Thursday.
