0723 GMT - AXA's 2025 results are closer to consensus than any set of results Jefferies analyst Philip Kett has seen from any company in any period, at least on an IFRS basis, he says in a note to clients. "Revenue missed by -0.8%, Underlying Earnings were +0.1% ahead, Net Income +0.6% was ahead, the [return on equity] -0.3%pts was behind, and the [dividend] was 1 cent higher than expected." Beyond statutory accounting metrics, there were a couple of deviations from forecasts, he adds. Sales and flows in the French insurer's life and health division disappointed but its Solvency II ratio was higher than expected, reflecting stronger capital, Kett adds. (elena.vardon@wsj.com)
