Saturn Metals (ASX:STN) said ongoing resource development drilling at its Apollo Hill heap leach gold project in Western Australia outlined a new shallow zone of structurally controlled, higher-grade gold mineralization called the Titan zone, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of 10 meters at 2.09 grams per tonne grade of gold from 46 meters and nine meters at 1.90 g/t grade of gold from 90 meters.
Reverse circulation drilling at the project also hit an intercept of five meters at 11.92 g/t grade of gold from 157 meters. Drilling is ongoing with four reverse circulation rigs and one diamond drill rig on-site.
Its shares jumped 4% in recent trading on Wednesday.
