Shares of airlines and cruise companies were down in recent premarket activity Monday amid travel disruptions following the US and Israel-led strikes on Iran early Saturday and Tehran's retaliatory attacks on US military bases across a number of countries in the Middle East.
Delta Air Lines (DAL), United Airlines (UAL), and American Airlines (AAL) shares were down 5% each, while Southwest Airlines (LUV) fell 3.8%.
Among cruise stocks, Carnival (CCL, CUK) slipped 7.5%, while Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL) and Norwegian Cruise Line (NCLH) decreased more than 5% each.
