Kairos Minerals (ASX:KAI) said drill results from the Main Hill Extension Prospect reaffirm the Mt York Gold Project extension ahead of the updated mineral resource estimate expected in the first half of the year, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 8 meters at 3.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 128 meters, including 1 meter at 11.2 g/t gold from 133 meters.
The company will resume drilling this month, targeting more resource opportunities from the 4.2-kilometer-long gold corridor, with up to 50,000 meters of drilling expected in 2025 across the Mt York and Roe Hills Project, the filing said.
Kairos will use the updated Mt York mineral resource estimate to progress a pre-feasibility study for the project in 2026, the filing added.
The company's shares fell nearly 3% in recent Wednesday trade.
