Brazilian Critical Minerals (ASX:BCM) said the second batch of infill auger drilling at the Ema rare earth element project in Brazil confirmed continuous rare earth mineralization with consistent grades and thicknesses, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The company encountered intercepts of 8.5 meters at 1,513 parts per million (ppm) of total rare earth oxides (TREO) from 10 meters, ending in 875 ppm of TREO as well as 10 meters at 1,049 ppm of TREO from 9 meters, ending in 2,999 ppm of TREO.

The highest grades of neodymium-praseodymium were located at the bottom of the auger holes within the semi-weathered zone, directly above the fresh rock interface, the filing said.

Brazilian Critical Minerals' shares rose nearly 3% in recent trading on Tuesday.
