Ericsson (ERIC) said Wednesday it agreed to separate partnerships with Turkcell (TKC) and Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) to develop next-generation telecommunications technology.
Under the agreement with Turkcell, the companies will establish a research program in Turkey focused on autonomous systems for future 6G connectivity, the telecommunications equipment maker said.
The Chunghwa Telecom collaboration will prioritize the deployment of upgraded 5G services alongside artificial intelligence integration to prepare for sixth-generation platforms, the company added.
