Magnetic Resources (ASX:MAU) completed metallurgical test work at its Lady Julie gold project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The company said testing across seven metallurgical composites over the Lady Julie North 4 deposit showed that the gravity concentration and regrinding of the carbon-in-leach tails, followed by a cyanide leach at standard conditions would be a viable alternative to flotation, regrinding, and intensive leaching.
The test work showed improved overall recovery across all composites, averaging 92%.
