Tivan (ASX:TVN) pledged up to AU$1 million over four years to support the development of indigenous communities in Central Australia, where the miner plans to further its presence in the coming decades, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The funding will be delivered through the Central Land Council's (CLC) Community Development Program.
The initiative consists of AU$250,000 in initial funding, followed by three annual installments of AU$250,000, per the filing.
The critical minerals miner is targeting traditional owners and native title holders in areas of its major Central Australian projects, Molyhil Tungsten and Sandover Fluorite, it added.
